Hobbies are a good way to bring happiness into ones life. Weather you are partaking in a hobby with others or by yourself it is important to take time to do things that make you feel at peace. A hobby can be anything that peaks your interest, some examples are baking, reading, arts and crafts photography, sports, or even just spending time out in nature.

Reaching Out 

One way that people have found helps increase self-worth is reaching out. Reaching out into your community to volunteer is a great way to not only help others but to also help you feel accomplished. Volunteering could be as simple as helping someone with their everyday tasks or going out into the community to help at shelters. You can also help others by donating time, money, or objects. One final way is to reach out to those you know who could use someone to be there for them or to someone who is willing to be there for you.

Self Care and Grounding

Self Care - Putting yourself first even in small ways is a great way to help yourself mentally. One way to practice selfcare is to set aside time as frequent as every day or as little as once a month. During the time you set aside try to do things that encourage an environment of peace and tranquility. 

Grounding - Grounding yourself can be used to as a form of self care but also as a way to help with anxiety. Common grounding techniques are spending time in nature such as going on a walk or just breathing fresh air, partaking in calmer hobbies, meditation, and breathing exercises.
